27. Batman: Detective Comics (Rebirth) Vol. 5: A Lonely Place of Living by James Tynion IV

Batman: Detective Comics, Vol. 5: A Lonely Place of Living by James Tynion IV
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wow, there is a lot going on in this volume! It involves the timeline again, only this time someone has to deal with their future self. All the Bat-family have gone to pot in the future and this character comes back to the present to try and fix things but to do so he must kill one of the Bat-family members. All the characters appear but this is primarily Tim's story. Then the book ends with a second story which features Clayface and his battle to stay "good". This volume kept me hooked and made for a speedy read. Only thing I didn't like was that it kept flipping from the past to the present to the future all over the place which made for some disjointed segments.
